Product Rant: Covergirl and Olay CC Cream

Ugh.

I recently tried a "new" product. Covergirl and Olay CC Cream Tone Rehab Foundation. Such a long name! I have A LOT of hyper-pigmentation from cystic acne that I suffered from for many years. I used a popular acne drug to clear my skin and I haven't really had a problem with breakouts since. However, the "spots" still want to hang around. I thought this foundation would be just what I needed since it would provide coverage for my skin while also treating it and improving the discoloration. It seems to do just that.

Here is a photo of the product, and I applied it with a wet Beauty Blender.

The first photo is of my skin with no makeup, and the second is my skin with only the CC Cream applied. It gives a nice medium coverage that can be built up to full coverage with layering.

So why is this a product rant?

This foundation matches my skin perfectly when first applied. After it has some time to dry...it oxidizes, and it oxidizes a lot. Seriously it turns two shades darker than it was originally in about ten minutes time. Maybe it was just the shade that I purchased (120 Creamy Natural) or maybe all shades do this?
I was very disappointed in this product, but I'm not going to return it because I have a beach vacation coming up in several weeks and I may need the darker shade.

Have you tried this product? Let me know about your experience in a comment.
