YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara Review

Hey everyone! Long time no post...

I'm here to tell you all about the re-released YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara!! It's amazing. AMAZING! Here's some quick facts:

• Natural fiber brush
• Long wearing formula
• No transferring on my upper lashes
• Minimal transferring on my lower lashes
• Retails for $32 (yikes!)
• Gives major volume!

Now I am a believer that a drugstore brand mascara can get the job done. But...there is just something about putting on a luxury brand mascara that makes me feel like a million bucks. This is the first YSL mascara that I have ever tried, and I think that it is well worth the price of $32, because it gives a false lash effect and lasts all day. That's all us girls want in a mascara right?

Venus Snap Travel Razor...for all your on the go shaving needs?

As a member of Influenster , periodically I am sent VoxBoxes with free products for review purposes. A couple of weeks ago I was sent the Gillette Venus Snap razor with Embrace.  I have used this razor several times and used it exclusively when I went out of the town one weekend.

The small size and carrying case make it great for traveling, just throw it in your purse and bag and go. It comes with a head that has moisture strips so you don't need to use a shaving cream, just water and you are good to go. I had minimal razor burn using this product and I would recommend it as a travel razor. The cost of this product is around $9.99 for the handle and one shaving head.

Mani Monday - quick and easy!

I never have the time to sit and paint my nails beautifully. Or the money to go to the salon and get them done by a professional all the time. Most days I opt for natural nails. Here lately I have been gravitating toward quick one coat manicures, and having a little bit of color on my nails. Here is today's choice...

China Glaze Hook and Line from the Hunger Games Collection. I believe this entire 12 polish line was  limited edition, but I found a link if you would be interested in purchasing it for the Hunger Games fan in your life!

The entire collection was given to me by my handsome fiancée for Christmas :) 

This polish wears for a few days without chipping. I don't have the time to sit and mess with a base or top coat. (I want my nails to dry quickly so I can continue on with my day.)

Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that costs $10 a month. Each month subscribers receive 4-5 makeup and beauty samples and a makeup bag. Samples are sent based on each persons preferences, which are determined by a quiz that you take upon signing up.

Ipsy subscribers can earn points by reviewing the products that come in each months bag, and by referring other people to become new subscribers.
